Hello everybody. It has been a while since I posted anything new here. I have been incredibly busy working on my new graphic novel project that I mentioned here earlier, the collection of stories inspired by murder ballads. The first 30 page story “Caleb Meyer”, inspired by a haunting Gillian Welch song, is completed. I’ve now started work on the second tale, which is based upon a Steve Earle song; ‘Taneytown”. I’m aiming for roughly the same amount of pages so the book will amount to around 120 pages when it is done. I’m still mulling over what other songs to choose. I still have some time. The book is slated for spring 2016. Hopefully everything will progress smoothly and according to plan. Check back regularly for more updates on this exciting project, well.
